Bookmart preserves the traditional practice of 2nd hand bookstores of selling different types of books (comics, magazines, novels etc), and in addition, we also buy and sell video game software/hardware, movie discs and music CDs. We are proud to provide and cover the needs of the modern customer. The traditional image of the old bookstore is changed by us as our shop is modernly designed with a bright new look and the smell of old books are all but gone using modern polishing techniques. We have been known as a “modern 2nd hand bookstore” as we deal in books that are published in recent years.

The items below will not be purchased

Books with discolored pages, various stains, writings, bent/torn pages, mold etc. Books that do not come with a cover, as well as old publications, will not be purchased as well.

We have expanded in Japan since 1990 with this new bookstore design, and the market has only expanded even when the demand for new bookstores has declined.
